Interesting facts about space.
Unfortunately, even though mankind has gone to the moon in 1969, this is still not a simple feat in the 21st century. Most of the know how accumulated during the lunar flights have been lost due to the fact that production facilities have been dismantled and many experts who worked on the lunar missions either have retired or died. Right now, it would be impossible to replicate the Saturn 5 rockets that were used to launch the original Moon Mission. Thus, due to this, it has become impossible to fly to the moon again without some sort of a preparation. Hence, many scientists state that going to Mars is a better option as compared to going to the Moon.
and here is another
However, the fact of the matter is that moon will always remain the best option for mankind. The reason for this stems from the fact that the moon can always act as a stepping stone to the rest of the solar system and beyond. This is only natural, as the moon is in a very close proximity to Earth. Only by taking a 3 day trip, it is possible to reach the Moon with standard chemical propulsion techniques. However, in retrospect, going to Mars would require almost 100 times the amount of trip time of moon, since Mars is about 1000 times further then the moon. The amount of life support that is required for a mission that will take 2 years or more is definitely very costly and more importantly, the technological capability is not there. Thus, with our present global financial and technical capability, the moon is the only realistic option.
The spacecraft Voyager 2 flew past Uranus in 1986, and Neptune in 1989. Voyager 2 sent back images of Neptune to Earth that revealed a strikingly beautiful deep blue planet, that sported stripes and bands, and spot-like storms akin to hurricanes. Neptune's bands and spots are different shades of blue--and these lovely shades of blue are caused by atmospheric methane, not oxygen. Some of Neptune's frothy storms are white, and look like whirling marshmallows.

The 'Board of Trustees' in Yangon organises and conducts an official ceremony to celebrate this day in the context of which a huge processions is led around the great gilded 'Shwedagon Stupa'. The people leading this procession are clad in the garb of celestial beings such as 'Thagyamin' (King of Celestials), the 'Galon/Garuda King' (a mythical being half human and half bird) and the 'Naga' (Serpent King). This much to the religious, the commemoration part of the full-moon day of Kason. But what about the anticipating part mentioned earlier?
"Our model explains the diversity of these ice-rich moons and the evidence for their very active geology and dynamics. It also explains a puzzling fact about Titan, in that a giant impact would give it a high orbital eccentricity," Asphaug continued to explain to the press on October 18, 2012.
During a Lunar eclipse the Earth blocks the Full Moon so light from the Sun cannot reach the Moon. We know the Moon reflects the Sun's light so during those moments when that light is blocked it's like the Moon takes a deep breath and holds it. In those moments magic happens. Shifts occur on the consciousness level. Since this Full Moon is in the sign of Capricorn ( Full Moons are always opposite the Sun) and the Sun is in Cancer, the issues of Capricorn and Cancer are up for consideration.. Cancer, ruled by the Moon, is often seen as mothering, female nurturing energy and Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is the archetypal competitive, goal-oriented male energy. We each have BOTH these energies in our personas.
